Which Bengaluru digital marketing agencies show a Google Partner badge, and what it verifies
Google's Partner badge checks ad spend, certifications, and an optimization score. What six Bengaluru agencies publish about it, and what the badge leaves out.
Some digital marketing agencies operating around Bengaluru put a Google Partner badge on their homepage. Others say nothing about it anywhere on their site. The difference is not simply a design choice. Google's own Partner Program page attaches specific, checkable requirements to that badge: a spend threshold, a certification quota, and a performance score, measured against each agency's own Google Ads manager account. As of September 2026, this list looks at what six Bengaluru-serving agencies, Studio Happens included, state about the badge on their own sites and public profiles, not at what the badge is generally assumed to mean.
What the Google Partner badge checks
Google's own help page for the program sets out three requirement categories rather than one bar to clear. On spend, an agency has to maintain a 90-day ad spend of $10,000 USD across the accounts it manages. On certifications, at least 50 percent of an agency's account strategists need a current Google Ads certification, capped at 100 users, with one certification in every product area where the agency has spent $500 or more over the same 90 days. On performance, the agency's registered Ads manager account needs a minimum optimization score of 70 percent. Premier Partner status sits above all three: it goes only to agencies ranked in the top 3 percent of participating companies in a given country, a ranking Google recalculates annually using client growth, retention, product diversification, and total ad spend.
Six Bengaluru agencies, checked against what they publish
What follows is limited to what each agency states on its own site or a public profile, not an audit of live ad accounts, which nobody outside Google and the agency itself can see. A badge on a homepage is a claim the agency is making about itself. Google's own partner directory is where a prospective client can verify it, and one agency below links to that directory directly rather than asking for the claim to be taken on faith.
Techmagnate
Techmagnate runs its corporate office out of New Delhi and separately operates a Bangalore office that its site says serves South Indian clients. Its homepage displays the Google Premier Partner designation repeatedly, alongside a claim of more than 20 years in business since 2006 and a team of over 300 people. It is the only agency here that surfaces the Premier tier by name rather than standard Partner status.
Bud
Bud, based in HRBR Layout in Kalyan Nagar, describes itself on its own Bangalore services page as an official Google Premier Partner with more than 13 years in the Bengaluru market. Unlike Techmagnate, Bud is Bengaluru-headquartered rather than running an outstation office, which matters to a business that wants an account team working from the same city and time zone.
Optimus PPC Services
Optimus PPC Services, also Bengaluru-based, makes one of the more specific claims of the group: it earned the Google Partner badge in August 2014, the same year it was founded, and says it has retained the badge every quarter since without a lapse. That is a standard Partner claim, not Premier, and the agency's own page links out to Google's public partner directory so a prospective client can check the status directly.
Brandshark
Brandshark, headquartered in HSR Layout with additional offices in Mumbai and the US, lists digital marketing, SEO, performance marketing, video production, and branding among its services. Its services page does not mention Google Partner or Premier Partner status anywhere. That does not mean the agency lacks certified staff; it means the badge is not part of how Brandshark presents itself.
Inbounderz
Inbounderz, headquartered in Kasturi Nagar and founded in 2017 according to its Clutch profile, lists SEO, social media marketing, branding, and web development among its services and states it works with clients across seven countries. Like Brandshark, nothing in its public profile references Google Partner status.
Studio Happens
Studio Happens, in K.Narayanapura, is the newest agency in this group, founded in 2025. Studio Happens lists performance marketing on Google and Meta Ads, web development, Google Business Profile setup, and AEO among its services, but does not state a Google Partner badge, which lines up with the program's own 90-day spend requirement: an agency needs three months of qualifying managed ad spend before it is even eligible to apply, regardless of how an individual account is performing in month one.
What the badge tells you, and what it leaves out
A Google Partner or Premier Partner badge is specific to Google Ads. It says nothing about an agency's SEO work, website builds, AEO or answer-engine work, or social media management, even when the same agency sells all of those under one roof, which four of the six here do. It also does not measure client results directly: the optimization score Google checks is a property of the ad account's settings and structure, not of the leads or revenue that account produced. A badge is a reasonable first filter when Google Ads specifically is the service being bought, worth checking against Google's own directory rather than a homepage claim. For everything else an agency does, the badge is silent. Bengaluru marketing agencies AI search names first, and the ones it skips is a companion piece on MagicSignal that looks at citation visibility instead, a more useful signal for agencies whose primary work is SEO or AEO rather than paid media.
Frequently asked questions
Q: What is a Google Partner badge?
It is a status Google Ads grants to agencies and freelancers that meet three requirements: a 90-day ad spend of $10,000 USD across managed accounts, at least half of account strategists holding a current Google Ads certification, and a minimum 70 percent optimization score on the registered manager account.
Q: Does a Google Partner badge mean an agency does good SEO or web design too?
No. The badge only covers Google Ads spend, certification, and account optimization score. It says nothing about an agency's SEO, web development, or AEO work, even when the same agency offers all of them alongside its ad management.
Q: How can I check if a Bengaluru agency's Google Partner badge is current?
Google maintains a public partner directory search. An agency's homepage claim is not proof by itself, and the badge can lapse if the agency stops meeting the spend, certification, or performance thresholds in a later quarter.
Q: Is Studio Happens a Google Partner?
Not currently. Studio Happens is a newer Bengaluru agency founded in 2025 and has not stated Google Partner status on its site. The program's 90-day qualifying spend requirement means a newly founded agency is not eligible to apply in its first months regardless of account performance.
